Shibui Sushi was one of our PPC and Google Ads clients. They were looking to grow their online sales of their sushi delivery service. We suggested a collaboration with one of our social media clients @secretcapetown that would benefit both communities as it has a strong foodie following that we believed Shibui would benefit from.
We never imagined the results would be as fantastic as they were. People obviously lurve sushi at home! Their Instagram following by more than 1100 followers and almost than doubled their following.

Competitions between two accounts are one of the easiest ways to do this.
We structured a competition where entrants stood the chance of winning a R1000 sushi delivery voucher from Shibui Sushi.
Entrants needed to:

- Follow both accounts
- Tag a friend who loves sushi
Really simple and easy to do.
Competitions work extremely well on instagram as people love to win prizes especially food delivery rewards where they do not even need to leave their homes. Tagging their friends in the post guarantees that the profile will be seen by more than just this community which allows us to broaden your following while also creating engagement on the post which the Instagram algorithm loves.
It is always important to make sure that a collaboration connects two communities that are connected. @secretcapetown and @shibuisushi were the perfect fit as they both appeal to foodies living in Cape Town.

@shibuisushi grew their following by more than 1100 followers which almost doubled their Instagram following.
